There are lots of great places to stay in Woodstock, Saugerties and the surrounding areas. Here are a few of our favorites, but feel free to check Airbnb or VRBO as well.
Please Note: We encourage everyone to book accommodations as early as possible. Fall is peak tourist season for Upstate New York and the best hotels and short-term rentals will fill up fast. If you're having difficulty finding a place to stay, please reach out to Garth or Lindsay directly.
Getting to Woodstock from wherever you are
There are several ways to get to Woodstock depending on how adventurous you're feeling.
If you plan on flying + renting a car, we recommend the following airports:
LaGuardia Airport (LGA): 117 Miles from Woodstock
John F. Kennedy International (JFK): 122 Miles from Woodstock
Newark Liberty International (EWR): 110 Miles from Woodstock
Albany International (ALB): 60 Miles from Woodstock
For the more adventurous, there are a variety of train and bus options– they take a bit longer, but offer a chance to take in Upstate New York's beautiful scenery.
Metro North
Metro North (Hudson Line) will take you from Grand Central Station to Poughkeepsie in just under 2 hours. From there it is roughly 45 minutes by car depending on where you are staying.

Amtrak
Amtrak operates from the Moynihan Train Hall (new! fancy!) at Penn Station in Manhattan to Rhinecliff, NY which takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes. From the Rhinecliff Station, Woodstock is approximately 25 minutes away by car.
Coach pricing ranges from $24 to $48 each way.
Business Class pricing ranges from $55 to $84 each way.

Trailways
Trailways operates service directly to Woodstock from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The journey takes just under 3 hours.
Fares are approximately $35 each way.

Yes! There is parking on site. We do encourage carpooling as well as selecting a designated driver if you are planning to drink alcohol. Uber and Lyft are available in the surrounding areas.
The wedding will take place both indoors and outdoors, with the ceremony and reception being outdoors. The house will be used for cocktail hour as well as open any time you may need to warm up.
Historically, the weather over the past few years has had highs in the mid-70s and lows in the low 40s. We’re hoping for a warmer day but will have heaters outside to keep things comfortable.

Stop at Dia Beacon on your way upstate or back to the city.
Art Omi is north of Woodstock, but has expansive grounds with larger than life art pieces.
Stop by the many antique warehouses in Hudson.
